Greetings!
In 1964, as Japan was swept up in the excitement of the Tokyo Olympics, the artist Ms. Yuki Shibahara embraced the grand ideal of building bridges between nations through art. The Art Friendship Association, established at that time, laid the foundation for today's Artist Association of Asia.
Looking at the current global situation, we see conflicts arising from words, threats of military force and economic pressures, all of which are testing humanity's wisdom. However, we firmly believe that art's noble power is the true path to peace, and we have upheld the philosophy of 'From Asia to the World'.
Our goal is to reach the pinnacle of passion and beauty. We earnestly hope to unite with our fellow Asian nations and extend this circle of ideals across the globe.
